When they said that time would stop once you meet the ‘one’, they weren’t lying.
Time stopped for you. At least, to me, it did.
The sounds went mute. The movements went slow. And all I could see was you.
You, in that pink hoodie and that faded jeans.
You, with that crescent moon eyes as you smile.
You, giving your first greeting—telling your foreign name.
People laughed and I grinned. You just said you were brighter than mushrooms.
But instead of getting mad with the humiliation, you gave a bow and humbly apologized.
And that red tinge on your cheeks, I’ve never seen anyone so beautiful when they blush.
That day I knew.
That I would love you. And only you.
